There are two types of tooth bleaching systems available;

• Office-type tooth bleaching system: Is performed at the doctor’s Office. Office-type tooth whitening system is based on heat or light activated %35 hydrogen peroxide application on patients tooth. Office-type tooth whitening system is the most favored tooth whitening application. One session take about 1 hour and it may take 2-3 sessions.

• House type tooth bleaching system:  Measurement of the patient’s tooth is made, then custom made tooth model is prepared.  House-type tooth whitening system is based on application of the tooth whitening gel (which is provided by your doctor) in the tooth model and keeping it (the tooth model) in mouth during sleep. The house-type whitening system may take around 10-15 days depending on the patient.
