To take a measurement, up to 1mm thin layer is removed from the outer surface of the tooth. Then porcelain laminations (which prepared on the tooth model) carefully  fitted and aestetically mounted to tooth .

Tooth laminations are the best methods which require minimum preperation to have maximum aestetics. Due to their highest pellucidity of light, tooth laminations can not be distingusihed from natural tooth (except under neon light and photo flash) and never change their color because tooth laminations are made from highest technology pressable porcelain.  Since the patients thong will be touching to their natural tooth, they will not have the feeling of a foreign material.
